TrailerPro Academy / Legal & safety
Terms of Service
Proposed terms for individual learners, shops and other users of TrailerPro Academy.
1. Training service
TrailerPro Academy provides online trailer technician lessons, assessments, simulated equipment, continuing education and shop training tools. Content is educational; it does not replace current manufacturer instructions, supervised hands-on training or applicable laws. Read the Safety Disclaimer before performing work.
2. Accounts and shop responsibilities
Provide accurate account and certificate information, protect your sign-in credentials and do not share an individual account. Shop owners and managers are responsible for their authorized team members, training assignments and practical sign-offs. A manager’s sign-off records their assessment; it is not an independent inspection or guarantee by TrailerPro.
Do not impersonate another learner, falsify results or sign-offs, bypass access controls, interfere with the service or upload material you are not authorized to share.
3. Plans, trials and grants
Plan prices, billing frequency and included seats are shown at checkout. Subscriptions renew on the selected billing cycle unless canceled. Cancellation retains access until the end of the paid period. Plan changes apply immediately with proration.
The button-started free trial lasts seven days and does not require a credit card. Trial access does not issue certificates. Certificate eligibility requires qualifying paid access or an administrator-assigned non-trial access grant, including a scholarship or complimentary account. Grants may have an end date and may be extended or revoked by an administrator. A trial does not automatically become a paid subscription.
Refund, tax, shipping and return terms must be finalized and disclosed before commercial purchases are enabled. No additional refund promise is established by this draft; applicable statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.
4. Assessments and credentials
Core levels progress sequentially from Basic to Advanced to Master. Module quizzes contain 25 questions; the level finals contain 100, 150 and 250 questions respectively. Quizzes and finals require an 80% passing score. Credential decisions are based on verified assessment results, not self-reported scores.
Certificates identify training achievement and have a one-year expiry. Canceling a plan does not invalidate an already earned certificate before its normal expiry, unless it is revoked for a separate valid reason. Online exam results alone do not establish hands-on competence, professional licensure, regulatory approval or authorization to perform hazardous work.
TrailerPro issues its own credentials. It is not affiliated with or accredited by NATDA or ASE. No OEM endorsement, warranty labor-rate increase, employment outcome or external acceptance of continuing education is guaranteed; separate written agreements and the receiving organization’s rules govern those matters.
5. Manuals, AI and simulations
Manufacturer names identify relevant equipment or source material, not sponsorship. Source documents, illustrations and trademarks remain subject to their owners’ rights. Access to a lesson does not grant permission to redistribute a manufacturer’s manual.
AI responses can be incomplete or incorrect. Simulations simplify physical conditions. Verify every service decision against the current manual for the exact equipment and use qualified supervision. Do not enter customer secrets, personal information or confidential documents into AI prompts without authorization.
6. Marketplace and partners
Product availability, seller or fulfillment arrangements, eligibility restrictions and final charges should be reviewed before purchase. Some products use print-on-demand or direct fulfillment; sponsored links may take you to an external seller whose terms govern that purchase. Product recommendations do not guarantee compatibility with your equipment.
OEM proposals are drafts until the parties approve and sign the applicable agreement. A proposal, demo calculation or sample warranty roster is not a promise of manufacturer approval or financial results.
7. Availability, responsibility and legal review
Service interruptions, corrections and feature changes may occur. Users and employers remain responsible for safe work, equipment suitability and compliance. Any final warranty exclusions or liability limitations must be reviewed for the applicable jurisdiction; this draft does not exclude rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.
The operating legal entity, service address, support contact, governing law and dispute process have not yet been supplied. These details and the final terms must be approved before launch. Material changes should be communicated with a version and effective date.
